ARIETE
The ram was a weapon of harassment ranging from a simple log
sharp edge in the tree until a car with wheels, log-tip
stone and a roof that protected the men who were pushing. These
different "models" were used as the archers firing from the castle and while boiling oil was poured. Even when this
strategy to succeed, it was still clearly the advantage of defenders.
